Three classmates have birthdays next month and you want the presents sorted in one go. This 46-page toy special runs for one week only, from 21 to 27 September 2026, and the cover says simply SPEELGOED.

Open it and the structure differs from most toy books: the book is sorted by price band rather than by age, at ten euro and fifteen euro. The blue pages are headed FEESTJE? CADEAUTJES ONDER DE 10,00 and the yellow ones ONDER DE 15,00. The lower band holds a Disney Junior Marvel Spidey drawing set at 2,99, a Disney Stitch drawing set at 7,99, the Clementoni Disney Ganzenbordspel at 8,99, Jumbo Adults Only Pim Pam Pet at 8,99 and a Spirograph design set at 9,99. The higher band holds Jumbo Stratego Junior Dino’s at 11,99, Picasso magnetic tile sets in jungle and farm-animal editions at 12,99 each, Ravensburger Colorino Peppa Pig at 12,99 and Kosmos Crystal Growing at 14,99. A separate page carries FSC-certified wooden toys, with a cutting set at 4,99 and a wooden coffee machine and mixer at 8,99 each.

The three highlighted lines land on three different kinds of play:

• Magnetisch speelgoed. Magnetic tiles belong to the category that keeps growing: a jungle box this year and a farm-animal box next year join into one collection instead of being built once and put away like a single kit. Boxes of this type are listed at 12,99, they suit children from about three who are still building fine motor control, and they are among the hardest presents to duplicate by accident.
• LEGO bouwsets. A construction set is the one present that can hold a child at the table for two hours, which makes it right for someone with a settled interest who can already follow an instruction booklet. This page does not price the boxes individually, so the actual figures and the sets in stock are whatever the shelf holds. On a tight budget, look at the shelf before deciding to build the main present around it.
• Kruidvat Speelgoedwinkel at € 14,99. This own-brand toy shop counter is the bulkiest item in the fifteen-euro band. It suits children from about four who are deep in role play, works for one child alone and works better for two taking turns as shopkeeper and customer, which keeps it in use far longer than a single figure would.

The sum is the number of children times the ceiling you set for one present. Three parties with a ceiling of ten euro each is 3 times 10, or 30 euro, and every block on the blue pages already sits inside that line, so nothing needs comparing item by item. If one of the three is a closer friend, lift that present into the fifteen-euro band and the total becomes 35. The wooden page works differently: at 4,99 a piece, three or four of them add up to a complete play kitchen for less than one fifteen-euro present. Note the window, though. This book lasts a week, and the footer states that a new load of toys arrives every week, so this selection is gone by next Monday.

Each block is marked promotional image, so the packaging in the shop can differ, and different editions within one range can carry different figures. No branch stock is given and no age guidance is printed, so the safe age is whatever the packaging states. Popular lines selling out inside a week is common.
