TAPT Deventer: Friday drinks or a full Saturday?

The two TAPT Deventer tickets describe two different weekends. Friday begins at 16:00 and feels like an after-work borrel carried across the river to De Worp. Saturday begins at 15:00 and leaves eight hours for beer, food trucks, games, karaoke and dancing. Comparing €16.90 with €21.90 misses the larger distinction: who is coming, how long the group wants to stay and how everyone gets home. The official page lists final-phase Friday tickets at €16.90 and Saturday at €21.90, each plus a €2 service fee. Entry is 18-plus and the site is cashless. Alcohol is not the only route through the programme: the cocktail area lists a 0.0% mojito, the wine bar has alcohol-free prosecco, and there are two silent-disco channels, table games and jeu de boules. Choice, however, does not replace planning. A group should still decide who drives, who stays with whom and when to leave.

De Worp’s position across the IJssel gives the day a beautiful setting and a real last-mile question. Total cost also includes food, drinks, transport and next-day energy. The cheaper ticket is not necessarily the cheaper outing if it ends with an unplanned taxi or several hours of waiting for different members of the group.

• Saturday: 15 August, 15:00–23:00; a longer festival day, €21.90 plus €2 service fee.
• 18-plus and cashless: carry valid identification and a working payment method; cash is not a fallback.
• Plan the return before the drinks: choose a sober driver, public transport or accommodation and reconfirm before the final round.

Practical takeaway: ask whether the group wants a few after-work hours or a complete festival day, then buy. When the day fits, the price gap is small; when it does not, eight hours become a sequence of people waiting for one another.
