You want a few things that came in fresh this morning, and at the Amazing Oriental shelf you find three different kinds of price tag: some per kilo, some per pack, one per piece. This flyer is a single page headed WEEKLY DEALS, with 16/09/2026 - 22/09/2026 printed along the bottom, and its ten fresh items use all three.

One step puts them on the same scale: pack price divided by pack weight in kilos. Enoki at 0,49 euro for about 100 g comes out near 4,90 euro a kilo; Thai mangosteen and rambutan, air-flown, at 8,88 euro for about 500 g comes to roughly 17,76 euro a kilo; Thai durian meat at 19,99 euro for about 500 g lands near 39,98 euro a kilo; and the Qiuyue pear box at 22,99 euro for about 5 kg works out at some 4,60 euro a kilo. Only after converting does it show that the dearest line costs almost nine times the cheapest.

The page falls into three groups by the way it prices things:

• Four items priced by the kilo: iron yam at 4,29 euro, flat cabbage at 1,59 euro, eddo at 2,35 euro and carambola at 19,50 euro. Nothing needs converting here; the scale decides. Yams and eddo keep well, so a week in one trip is no risk, while carambola sits well above the other three and is better bought a few pieces at a time.
• Five items priced by the pack: CJ soft or firm tofu at about 300 g for 1,75 euro, down from 2,35 euro; enoki at about 100 g for 0,49 euro; Thai mangosteen and rambutan at about 500 g for 8,88 euro; Thai durian meat at about 500 g for 19,99 euro; and the Qiuyue pear box of about 5 kg for 22,99 euro. Pack sizes here run from 100 g to 5 kg, so without dividing once you cannot tell which is good value.
• One item priced by the piece: white pomelo, large, at 2,69 euro each. The page gives no weight, so no kilo price can be derived and you are counting units. Lift two or three at the shelf and take the heavier one for the same money.

Worth noting: every pack weight on the page carries ca., meaning approximately, so the kilo prices above are estimates rather than what the till will read. The air-flown mangosteen, rambutan and durian meat vary most in actual weight. The footer also states that stock lasts while supplies do, that photographs may differ from the product, and that price changes and typesetting errors are reserved. Only the CJ tofu line shows a struck-through 2,35 euro; the other nine show a single figure, and the page does not say whether it is below the usual level.
