Evenings are turning cool at the end of September; someone at home wants warmer pyjamas, and someone else points out that the drill in the drawer has been flat for months. This 35-page Action flyer for week 39 states on the cover that it is valid from Wednesday 23 to Tuesday 29 September 2026, so nothing in it can be bought before next Wednesday.

The most useful thing in this flyer is not the large price but the tiny unit price printed below it. Three pairs of bamboo socks cost 2,28 euro, with 0,76/st underneath; 20 A-Force batteries cost 2,44 euro, with 0,12/st; 40 Teddy Care wipes cost 0,79 euro, with 0,02/st. The sum is price divided by the number of items, or washes, equals the price per item. Endless Scent appears twice: scent granules for 16 washes at 2,28 euro, about 0,14 euro a wash, and the liquid Blossom version for 20 washes at 1,99 euro, about 0,10 euro a wash. They are different formats, but if all you want is fresh-smelling laundry, comparing per wash makes the choice clear.

The three items highlighted on the page match three jobs a household faces at the change of season:

• Pyjama at € 8,95: sizes S to XL, in more than one design. Earlier in the same flyer there is another two-piece Dames of heren pyjama at 7,95 euro a set, also in S to XL, and a children’s version at 5,95 euro in sizes 110 to 164. If the whole family is switching to winter nightwear, multiply each price by the number you need, add it up, and then decide which adult version to take.
• FERM accuboomachine at € 24,98: a 20-volt cordless drill for curtain rails, shelves and the other small jobs that come with autumn indoors. The page says only 20 volt and does not state whether a battery and charger are included, so check the box in the shop before you buy. If you only drive screws, the same flyer has a 4-volt FERM screwdriver for 9,88 euro.
• Teddy fleecevest at € 9,95: sizes M to XXL in several colours, the fleece jacket you throw on at home or to take the bins out. The unit price below it is simply 9,95/st, one price per jacket with no multi-buy discount.

A few more lines fit the weather: an electric blanket of 130 by 180 cm for 24,95 euro and a 55 by 55 cm heated cushion for 15,95 euro, both with adjustable heat settings, and women’s slippers in sizes 36 to 41 at 3,99 euro a pair. Worth noting: the footer says prices apply in the Netherlands only and items are available while stocks last, and the flyer gives no stock per branch. Before you go, list what your household needs, divide each large price by the number of items, check it against the small unit price, and you will see which lines really beat what you usually pay.
