Two weeks without key Flevolijn links

At Almere Centrum one ordinary transfer splits into two journeys: local travellers use replacement buses, while long-distance passengers may be steadier bypassing the works via Amersfoort. ProRail is renewing track and platforms around Almere Muziekwijk and Centrum, including width and height adjustments, making this a two-week intervention. It affects commuters, Schiphol flights and north-south weekend trips; luggage and pushchairs make last-minute bus changes harder. From 2–16 August, trains stop between Almere Centrum–Weesp and Almere Centrum–Naarden-Bussum; NS runs replacement buses and advises Zwolle/northern travellers to Amsterdam or Schiphol to detour via Amersfoort. Because disruption lasts two weeks, weekday bus crowding matters more than the Sunday preview. Regular commuters should test the full door-to-door timing via Amersfoort before Monday.
