Titanic immersive show in Utrecht at EUR 19.90: from eight people the group bundle saves EUR 2 a ticket

A November weekend in Utrecht can rain from morning to night, which makes an indoor destination worth more than anything else. Hall 5 of the Jaarbeurs currently holds an immersive Titanic exhibition: not photographs on a wall, but the ship's interior rebuilt as it was, so you walk in along the corridors and come face to face with the iceberg on the way. What separates it from other immersive shows is that it does not only ask you to look. A collection of genuine artefacts sits inside the rebuilt cabins, and in the final section you are asked to take a seat in a lifeboat while the minutes of the sinking happen around you, sitting in that position and waiting for it to pass rather than watching it on a screen. The VIP ticket adds a virtual dive by submarine down to the wreck of the RMS Titanic, which the standard ticket does not include, and the operator states plainly that the VR can cause dizziness or disorientation and is not advised for anyone prone to motion sickness or balance problems.
